Heavens Gate

When you arrive at heavens gate, will the gate be opened for you or will it remain shut? You will know the answer before you get there and you can know for sure that heavens gate will open for you. How?

Very simple. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, THOU SHALT BE SAVED Romans 10:9

It is very simple and straightforward. Confess with your mouth and believe in your heart and you will be saved. That's all there is to it. It is what you believe that gets you into heaven and not your actions.

"For by grace (unmerited favor - something you don't deserve)are ye saved through faith(believing in the Lord Jesus)and that not of yourselves: IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD Not of works, lest any man should boast.Ephesians 2:8 & 9 However, your faith should produce good works.

There is nothing you can do to enter heavens gate except to believe and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. There is only one way to enter heavens gate and that is to confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."Acts 4:12 But what about.....those who have never heard or will hear of Jesus?

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so they are without excuse.. Romans 1:20

What this is saying is that nature itself is proof that there is a supreme being we call God and men have no excuse for not believing there is a God. God will judge those who have not heard the name of Jesus by the amount of light they have received. After all, Jesus did bear the sins of all of mankind for all of eternity.

Nature is proof of God. Nature is testament of God's power and creativity. Nature is not to be worshiped, God is. The difference between one who worships God and one who worships God's creation can be found in this illustration. One man sees a tree and sees God in the tree and falls down and worships it. Another man sees a tree and says to himself, "Look what God has placed here for me. I will use this wood and build a house." Another illustration has a full grown cow grazing in the meadow. One man falls down and worships the sacred cow while his children die of malnutrition at home. Another man says, my family will have food all winter long because of this cow that God has made. This also makes the theory of evolution a fantasy of mankind which will never be proven because it is a lie.

But what about....baptism? Baptism is an act of obedience because you have put your trust in the Lord. It is the first thing you should do after you have been saved. However, Baptism does not save you or gets a key which unlocks heavens gate. Many have taken this verse out of context Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:38 Because of this verse many teach that you have to be baptized to obtain salvation and completely ignores the fact that you are baptized to show the world that you have been saved. In this scripture, Peter is talking to the Jewish people. What had they done? They had rejected their messiah, Jesus Christ, and had Him crucified. Peter told them to be baptized to prove that they had changed their mind about who Jesus was.

Want further proof? And Crispus, the chief ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord with all his house; and many of the Corinthians hearing believed, and were baptizedActs 18:8 In this verse, the Greeks (gentiles) first believed (which saves you) then were baptized (an act of obedience to show the world in whom you have believed in).

In 1st Corinthians 1:14, Paul states, "I thank God that I baptized none of you". Was Paul thanking God that he had helped no one get saved? In John 4:2 it states that Jesus himself baptized not. Does that mean that Jesus himself saved no one? And finally, when Jesus was hanging on the cross awaiting death one of the thieves mocked Jesus and the other asked Jesus to remember him. Jesus told that thief he would be with Jesus in paradise on that very day. Was that thief baptized? Of course not. Baptism is an act of obedience to show the world you have placed your trust in Christ.

But what about....communion? Partaking of the sacraments (eating & drinking the bread and wine of the communion table) is an act of remembrance. It is to serve as a constant reminder of what Jesus has done for you. This does not save you. And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.Luke 22: 19-20.

But what about...good works? But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags. Isaiah 64:6

As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one. Romans 3:10. As you can see our good works are rather pathetic in God's sight. Does that mean we shouldn't do good works? Heaven forbid! James 2:17,20, & 26 states that faith without works is dead. Very simply if you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ then you will strive to be like him and what was He like? He spent his entire lifetime serving others. But good works will do nothing to save you or earn you a key to heavens gate.

But what about...attending church? Attending church will no more save you than going into McDonald's will make you a Big Mac. You should be attending church because you want to learn more of Jesus Christ. Did your church building or denomination die for your sins? The Catholic Church catechism states there is no salvation outside of the Catholic Church. This makes them a substitute for Christ and actually makes their church antichrist. The Catholic Church did not die for your sins, Jesus did.

But what about...other religions? All other religions are man-made religions and will do nothing to help you gain entrance into heavens gate. The difference in Christianity and all other religions is that Christianity is God centered while all others are man centered.

The other religions teach that you have to be good to get to heaven. That your good works should outweigh your bad. However, no one is good so it is a false hope. In Christianity, you simply trust God to save you and you do good works in gratitude to your savior-to thank Him for dying for you so you could be with God forever. If they are not teaching Jesus Christ dying for your sins then being raised from the dead, then they are a religion that will lead you straight into hell. Jesus said in Matthew 22:16 For many are called, but few are chosen.

What was Jesus talking about? He is referring to the fact that mankind's natural inclination is to live apart from God. Mankind wants nothing to do with God so instead of submitting to God, they rebel and build false religions and lie to themselves saying there is no hell and my religion is as good as yours (without Christ they are equally useless). Most people will reject Christ and never get into Heavens Gate. Will you be one of the few chosen or one of the many called?
