Persecuted Christians

Christians are the most persecuted people in the world. Why? Because this world is under the control of Satan and he hates us.

Remember the words I spoke to you: 'No servant is greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. John 15:20

It was about this time that King Herod arrested some who belonged to the church, intending to persecute them. Acts 12:1

Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.Rev. 12:14

Muslims kill Christians. Christians do not kill Muslims. Communists kill Christians. Christians do not kill communists.

TBN pulled Hal Lindseys' International Intelligence Briefing off the air in 2006 because of his statements on how dangerous Islam was to world peace. later TBN allowed Hal Lindsey back on their network. In the year 2011, Jack Van Impe ministries left Trinity Broadcasting Network because his comments were being censored. These comments named names of church leaders who were trying to unite Christianity with Islam and call it Chrislam.

In researching articles for this page I found an article that started with: Quaran 9:73 ...make war on the unbelievers and hypocrites and deal rigorously with them. Hell shall be their home: an evil fate. Then the author of the article of the story goes on to reveal his viewpoint on why Islam is not a religion of peace. When you click on the Read Full Story link you get this: Dear Reader, because Google has become very strict in what it considers to be acceptable content, we have removed this article. We regret having to take this action but since it's Google's game, we must play by their rules.

This is an example of the repression of free speech and it is usually targeted toward Christians and the people who expose truth. If a pastor preaches on the sin of homosexuality or condemns abortion, the pastor could be arrested for a "hate crime".

I do know that the closer we get to the return of Jesus Christ, the more persecution of Christians there will be. Recently, several Baptist church buildings in Alabama were burned to the ground by arsonists. In China, if you are arrested for "illegal worship" your fate could very well be prison until someone found that your tissue matched someone in need of an organ. You would then become an involuntary organ donor.

From Christianity Today: Nigerian militants raid town, kill 48 Christians Militants, reportedly Muslims, raided the dominantly Christian Nigerian town of Yelwa, in Plateau State, yesterday. Four dozen people, including women and children attempted to take refuge in a Church of Christ in Nigeria church. The militants, armed with guns and bows and arrows, killed them all.

Just do an online research on persecuted Christians and you will find that Christians are being martyred everyday. This is supposed to be the age of enlightenment. The worst is yet to come. A terrible darkness is creeping up on this planet. As the saying goes, it is always darkest before the dawn. The church age is near its end and will soon be called home. Until that happens I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. John 9:4
