-------Don't Look Up-------

Luke 21:28 states, "And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh."

What things? "25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken".

Jesus tells us that when His return is near there will be signs in the heaven and when we see these things happening, He tells us to look up for our redemption is near. By redemption, He means our bodies will changed to glorified immortal ones without sin.

Israel became a nation in 1948 fulfilling many Old Testament prophecies. Just one before that, UFO sightings began. UFO sightings have continued to this very day. I think these UFO sightings may be one of the signs Jesus was referring to.

When God calls His church home there is going to be an instantaneous disappearance of millions of human beings in just one moment. The billions left behind will want an explanation and I believe Satan is going to give them one. "9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness." 2 Thess. Chapter 2

While watching the Hal Lindsey report, Hal pointed out a couple of interesting developments regarding the UFO phenomenon which I believe would be more correctly termed the "UFO deception".

The United Nations has appointed an official delegate or ambassador to be earth's representative should we come into contact with any extraterrestrial life forms. Dr. Mazlan Othman, a Malaysian-born astrophysicist, is the Head of the Office for Outer Space Affairs. This was announced on 10-14-2010.

In other words, Dr. Othman is drawing a paycheck for something that has yet to be proven to exist. This is one of the most bizarre developments in history. However, this does bring up some interesting questions.

Is Satan going to stage an alien visitation? If so, then what is his agenda behind that? Why have the United Nations ignored this possibility until now?

Again, if it is the United Nations that is servicing as Earth's representative, will the alien visitors conclude there is no intelligent life on earth?

In reality Dr. Othman is the Head of the Office for Outer Space Affairs but it is supposed to be for stuff like the dangers of a comet or meteor striking the earth but the fact that the office actually exists is interesting. The ambassador to the extraterrestrials line was supposed to be a hoax.

There is a movie called Skyline coming out in November. The trailer shows that it is going be a sci-fi thriller involving aliens abducting humans.

The posters show humans being sucked up into the air by a beam of light. At the top of the poster are the words "Don't Look Up". Is this just a coincidence or is something spiritual going on here?

It is my belief that movies such as Skyline and alien abduction stories are preparing the minds of the public who have rejected the truth of the Bible to believe in a strong delusion or a lie.

The movie may become very popular and the phrase "Don't Look Up" may become very common in the public's vernacular, but Jesus said to "Look up because your redemption is near".
